Tourist Visa Support to Russia

 

     To travel to Russia, an entry visa is mandatory for most foreign visitors: it must be obtained before applying to the Russian Consulate or any other competent authority issuing citizenship or residence in your country. Any traveler without a visa will be denied entry to the Russian Federation if such a document is required. Documents for applying for a visa vary depending on the visa category (tourist, business, work, study, transit, private, etc.) and may differ depending on the country. Below you will find a list of documents that are usually required by the Russian Consulate to apply for a visa*:

• Visa application form;

• Passport original;

• Photo;

• Tourist voucher/invitation letter: reservation confirmation including the tour operator register number;

• Confirmation of tourist reception;

• Medical insurance valid in the territory of the Russian Federation and fully covering the trip period;

• Bank statement and / or employer's certificate of the applicant's salary for the previous year / half-year or month.

Visa Support: Tourist Invitation Letter

   A tourist invitation letter (also known as tourist voucher) is a visa support document required to submit a tourist visa application to Russia. A tourist invitation must be received from an authorized entity (e.g. hotel, travel agency) included in the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators of the Federal Agency for Tourism and must contain detailed information about the trip (dates, accommodation, route, program of visit etc.).

 

    LLC "Sanad" is a Russian tour operator with the official registration number of the Unified Federal register of tour operators, and therefore it is allowed to issue tourist invitations to foreign citizens wishing to travel to Russia for tourist purposes. Visa support documents issued by our company are accepted in most countries hosting a Russian embassy, though exceptions may apply: please request confirmation from the local consulate of the required documents before submitting your application. Please note: a visa support document is not a visa and does not grant automatic access to the territory of the Russian Federation. The visa support document must be submitted to the Russian Consulate in the attachment to the visa application form in order to obtain a valid entry visa to Russia; LLC "Sanad" disclaims all responsibility for the final decision of the Consulate to issue a visa.
